Learn Vista - Updating Windows Defender Definitions

Definitions contains list of spyware identities that Windows Defender can detect. By updating the definitions regularly, so your Windows Defender will always be able to detect the new spyware.

To update Windows Defender Definitions manually:

- Connect your computer to the internet.

- Open Windows Defender. (Click Start > All Programs > Windows Defender).

- Click the Down Arrow next to the Help button, and then click Check for updates. Then the update process starts.
