Learn Vista - Viewing Your Computer Information

Need to know the specification of your computer? You can view the basic and also the advanced information about your computer easily.

To view basic information about your computer:

- Open Control Panel. (Click Start menu, and then click Control Panel).

- Click System and Maintenance. Then click System.

- There, you'll see information about your Windows Vista edition, system rating, processor, RAM, and computer name.

To view advanced and detail information about your computer:

- Click Start > All Programs > Accessoies > System Tools > System Information.

- There, you'll see the detail information about your computer. Just browse the left pane to view each component of your computer's hardware and software.
