Learn Vista - Burning a CD or DVD Using Windows Media Player 11

You can make an audio or data CD/DVD easily from Windows Media Player 11.

To Burn a CD/DVD:

1. On WMP 11, click Burn tab. It will activate Burn List on the List pane.

2. Choose what kind of disc you want to burn (audio or data). Click the down-arrow below the Burn tab, and then click Audio CD or Data CD or DVD.

3. Insert a blank disc into the drive. If you've had files in rewritable CD, you need to erase your disc by right-clicking the drive on Navigation pane, and then click Erase Disc.

4. Drag files onto the Burn List. You can use the Navigation pane as well as using Windows Explorer to locate what you want to copy. After selecting files, drag them onto the Burn List.
5. Click the Start Burn button to begin burning. Now you can sit back and relax until the burning process finishes.
