If you change your Windows Vista System or you install a software, and then you find your Windows doesn't work correctly, you can try using Windows System Restore to restore your computer's system to an earlier date (restore point) when everything worked correctly.
To Restore System Changes:
- Open System Restore. (Click Start menu > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore).
- On System Restore window, click Next button.
- Choose/click a restore point from the list. If you want to choose another restore point, select the Show restore points older than 5 days check box to show restore points since last 5 days.
- Click Next button.
- Make sure your system drive (drive C) is selected, then click Next button.
- Next, click Finish button. Then your Windows will restart and automatically restore your system when it is starting.
