Vista Tips - Changing Icon of a Folder

You can change the icon of a folder that appears in Windows Explorer or on the desktop.

To do that, please follow these instructions:

- Open Windows Explorer (press CTRL + E), find the folder that you want to change its folder icon, and then right-click it. If you wish to change an icon of a folder on desktop, just right-click the folder.

- Click Properties.

- In the Properties dialog box, click Customize tab.

- In the Folder icons section, click the Change Icon button.

- In the Change icon dialog box, choose and click an icon from the list, and then click OK button.

- Click OK button again. Your folder icon changes now.
