Vista Tips - Putting a Program Shortcut on The Start Menu

Putting a program shortcut on the Start menu makes it faster to access the program. Actually you can put it on Desktop for faster access, but if you want to locate it on Start menu, you can do these steps:

Just right-click the program shortcut (whether in All Programs section on Start menu, or on Desktop), and then click Pin to Start Menu. It must be located on Start menu now, check it.

If you want to remove a shortcut from Start menu, just right-click the shortcut, and then click Unpin from Start Menu.
