Changing Screen Saver on Windows Vista

Like its predecessors, Windows Vista comes with several screen savers. You can choose one of them and customize its settings. And you can also create screen saver from personal pictures/photos you've saved on computer.

Change screen saver:

1. Right-click on empty area on desktop background, then click Personalize.



2. On Personalization window, click the Screen Saver text.




3. On Screen Saver Settings, select a screen saver that you wish to use. For more detailed explanations, please take a look this image below:



Explanations:
Point 1 : List of screen savers. Click/select a screen saver you like at the list.
Point 2 : Click the button to change settings of the selected screen saver.
Point 3 : Click that button to see the preview of the screen saver you select. To stop the preview, just move your mouse or press any key on keyboard.
Point 4 : Type the time length of mouse and keyboard inactivity before screen saver starts.

Tips: Create your own screen saver using pictures as a slide show
At the picture above, select the Photos options at combobox indicated by Point 1. Then click Settings button (Point 2). Then Photos Screen Saver Settings window appears, change the settings there as explained below:



At the end, click Save button.

4. Click OK or Apply button to implement the changes you've made, or click Cancel button to rescind all alterations you've done.
