In order to protect your computer from potentially harmful online content, you can set and customize your own Internet Explorer security levels.
To change Internet Explorer 7 Security Settings:
- Open your Internet Explorer 7.
- Click Tools from toolbar. Then click Internet Options.
- On Internet Options window, click Security tab.
There you'll find four Internet Explorer security zones:
- Internet. This zone is for all internet websites.
- Local intranet. This zone is only for all website within your intranet (local network).
- Trusted sites. This zone is for sites that you trust not to harm your computer.
- Restricted sites. This zone is sites that might potentially damage your computer or your information.
Click each security zone, and then set the security zone. If you've finished, click OK button.
