You probably want to hide the Control Panel link from Start menu to prevent others from changing any options inside it.
To hide Control Panel from Start menu:
- Open the Taskbar and Start menu Properties dialog box. (Right-click the Taskbar, and then click Properties).
- Click the Start Menu tab, and then click Customize button.
- In the Customize Start Menu dialog box, find Control Panel text from the list and then select Don't display this item option.
- Click OK button, and then click OK button again.
To hide Control Panel from Start menu:
