Windows Vista Tips - Viewing Histories When Programs Got Failure

Windows Vista provides a tool called Realiability and Performance Monitor where you can view histories for any system changes including hardware and software failures, and software installs/uninstalls.

- Open Control Panel (Click Start menu, and then click Control Panel).

- In Control Panel, click System and Maintenance, and then click Administrative Tools.

- Double-click Realiability and Performance Monitor.

- In Realiability and Performance Monitor window, at the left pane, find and click Reliability Monitor. Then at the right pane, you will see the graph telling you any significant changes to the system including hardware/programs/system failures, and programs and drivers install / uninstall. The changes are pointed by the icons. Programs failures are pointed by the red or yellow icons. Click the icon to see the details/reports under the graph.
