Hell of Tutorial in Photoshop
A few days ago I took sometime to try some tutorials I read such as the really cool Dramatic Text on Fire Effect in Photoshop by Collis from PSDTUTS, and put some 3D typography ideas into practice. My idea was to create a 3D text with fire coming from the inside of the document like a hole. |
Chrome Text and Frame Effect
The key to making any type of material look good in Photoshop is a combination of surface texture and lighting. For chrome, the surface is very smooth and shiny. So we need the shape and lighting to reflect that (pun intended!). The good news is that with the addition of Layer Styles in Photoshop several versions ago, chrome is now an easy effect to achieve. The effect works equally well on text and other objects. |

Linked Letters | |
