Configuring Number of Frequent Programs on Start menu

One of the nice new features in Windows XP is the list of frequent programs displayed on Start menu. In helps you get faster to access programs that you often use. By default, Windows XP will display only six shortcuts of frequent programs there. However, you can specify it up to 30 shortcuts.



To configure the number of frequent programs on Start menu:

- Right-click a blank place on the Taskbar, and then click Properties.

- In the Tasbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box, click Start menu tab.

- Click the Customize button.

- In the Customize Start Menu dialog box, specify the value of Number of programs on Start menu. (Max: 30).


- Click OK button, and then click OK button again.

Now, check your Start menu. The number of shortcuts of frequent programs has changed.
