Creating Your Own Screen Savers

Windows XP enables you creating your own screen saver in the form of images slideshow. If you have your own images that you want to use as screen saver, just put them in specific folder, or through My Pictures folder. Then when the screen saver runs, Windows XP will show your images one by one continuously.

To create your own screen saver:

- Open Windows Explorer. (press Windows key + E )

- Locate your images that you wish to use as screen saver, put them altogether in one specific folder. Or if you want, you can store them in the My Pictures folder.

- Now, open the Display Properties dialog box. ( Right-click the empty section on desktop background, and then click Properties).

- In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Screen Saver tab.

- In the Screen Saver drop-down list, select My Pictures Slideshow.

- Click the Settings button, and then configure any settings suit your desire. Important things, you must set the folder using folder which contains your images, also set the amout of time used to display every image, and how the images fill the sceen.

- Click OK button. To see the demo of the your image slideshow, click Preview button. When you're not satisfied with the slideshow, you can re-configure any settings again by clicking the Settings button.

- When everything is done, click OK button to close the Display Properties dialog box.
