Changing Desktop Theme on Windows Vista


Desktop theme represents the overall look of desktop. By changing the theme, so we will change elements such as wallpaper, screensaver, mouse pointer, and so on.

To change the theme, do this tasks step by step:

1. Right-click on empty area on desktop background, then click Personalize.



2. On Personalization window, click the Theme text.



3. On Theme Settings window, click the theme you wish.

Explanation:
Number 1 : Theme list. There you can choose one among available themes. Basically there are two themes, namely Windows Vista Theme, the default theme of Vista, and Windows Vista Classic, the theme that shows the old Windows look (like Windows 95 and 98).
Number 2 : Save As button. If you have changed some elements of desktop such as wallpaper, screensaver, etc, so your current theme that represents all those elements could be saved to a file by clicking this button.
Number 3 : Delete button. This button functions to delete a theme you have created. You cannot delete Windows Vista Theme and Windows Vista Classic theme.
Number 4 : Preview. When you change the list on Number 1, the preview of each choice will be displayed here.

4. Click OK button to get the result or Cancel button to cancel the change you made.
