Learn Vista - Resetting Internet Explorer 7 Settings

Resetting IE 7 settings is useful if you've changed IE settings, then you found your browser didn't work correctly and you don't know how to turn it back again. Resetting IE to the default settings won't delete the favorites, feeds, and a few other personalized settings.

To Reset Internet Explorer Settings:

- First, you must restart (close and then start again) your Internet Explorer if you are running it.

- From IE toolbar, click Tools > Internet Options.

- On Internet Options window, click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset button. Then the confirmation window appears, just click the Reset button again.

- After the process finishes, click Close button, and then click OK button.

- Next, you must restart Internet Explorer so that the changes can take effect.
