Learn Vista - Turning Off Windows Security Center Alerts

Actually, this action is not recommended, because Windows Security Center is very useful to warn you when security software is not up to date or get some trouble. But for any reason, you may want to turn it off.

To Turn Off Windows Security Center Alerts:

- Open Windows Security Center. Click Start menu, then click Control Panel. In Control Panel, click Check this computer's security status in Security section. (or you can use a short way: Click Start menu, then type wscui.cpl and then press ENTER).

- On the left pane, click Change the way Security Center alerts me.

- Then, choose/click the alert option you wish.
